The Nationals refused to rush complex national security laws that risk Australians’ hard-won freedoms.
We will not support flawed legislation pushed through Parliament without proper scrutiny.
The real threat is extremist Islamic ideology. It needs to be confronted it directly, not with rushed laws that encroach on your freedoms. This is a blatant overreach of power that The Nationals are standing against.
