In June of last year, the Minns Labor Government announced their crackdown on the sale of illegal tobacco products across NSW.
Since then, NSW Health Inspectors have conducted 131 inspections, closing 66 stores, seizing around 560,000 cigarettes and 98kg of other illicit tobacco products and over 6,000 illegal vaping goods with a combined estimated street value of around $830,000.
Illegal tobacco products have no place in NSW, and thanks to the Minns Labor Government, action is being taken to get rid of these products.
