The Coalition is once again in chaos.
Since the Federal election in May last year the Coalition has been entirely focused on their own dysfunction.
❌ Jacinta Price defected to the Liberals from the Nationals on 8 May 2025.
❌ Andrew Hastie resigned as Shadow Minister for Home Affairs on 3 October 2025.
❌ The Liberals abandoned net zero emissions by 2050 and recommitted to supporting nuclear energy.
❌ Barnaby Joyce defected to One Nation on 7 December 2025.
❌ Senior National MPs voted against the party position on hate speech on 21 January 2026.
❌ Senior National members Bridget McKenzie, Ross Cadell and Susan McDonald quit the shadow cabinet on 21 January 2026.
❌ Nationals leader David Littleproud quit the shadow ministry on 21 January 2026.
❌ The Nationals left the coalition for the second time in less than 12 months.
The Liberals and Nationals are more focused on fighting amongst themselves than fighting for their local communities.
Labor is busy getting on with the job of delivering for our communities.
