Crucial care for NSW animals in need.
The Perrottet Liberal government just announced $40.6 million in funding to improve the welfare of animals, including $20.5 million for the RSPCA, $5.5 million for the Animal Welfare League and $12 million for new facilities at the Sydney Dogs and Cats Home.
There’s also much needed financial assistance for cat desexing programs, helping abused animals and greyhound rescue.
This record funding is a proud achievement for our animal loving state.
