When ABC Darwin asked Fannie Bay voters about how they’re voting in the by-election this Saturday…
“I’ll be voting for the Greens for the first time. I’m a long term Labor voter but for me I need more of a push to look after the environment. I realise that mining is important for the Territory. It’s a bit of a boom-bust town that relies on mining but I think there can probably be a fairer compromise looking towards, yes, maybe still mining but caring for the environment as well. The Beetaloo basin, what’s happening there, is a big issue for me as well.”
Thank you! ✅ Great to see the campaign for Jonathan Parry, Greens for Fannie Bay going from strength to strength and giving his electorate someone to vote for who can truly lead on the complex social and environmental issues affecting the Territory 🌿💚✅
