When: meet at 8.15 at the river park across the road for
8.30 start. even if you can come for 15 minutes before work you’ll still help us show strength in numbersWhy: Federal Climate and Energy Minister Chris Bowen and all the State and Territory climate and energy ministers are meeting here in Mparntwe/Alice Springs this Friday. This group are responsible for dealing with climate change, and specifically for the greenhouse gas emissions produced by fracking the NT.
We want them to be reminded that you can’t talk climate change in the NT without taking responsibility for fracking.
ACT minister Greens Attorney General Shane Rattenbury will come out to speak to us.
