Bell Bay Aluminium is an incredible community asset – employing hundreds of local workers and supporting local communities.
I visited the smelter along with local MP Bridget Archer MP – Liberal Member for Bass, and shadow ministers Sussan Ley MP, Ted O’Brien MP – Federal Member for Fairfax and Senator Susan McDonald.
The Coalition will always stand up for our traditional industries like Bell Bay and their local skilled workforce.
The Albanese Labor Government must ensure their policies do not make a bad situation worse – and that these jobs and local industries are protected.
