It was fantastic to join Australians with Type-1 diabetes, families, and supporters for the JDRF – One Walk in Petrie this morning.
JDRF is the leading supporter of T1D research globally and in Australia and each year, One Walks across Australia bring communities together to raise important funding for life changing T1D research.
Local volunteers raised over $1,000 today and the efforts continue throughout the year and elsewhere across Australia.
Also wonderful to award John and Alyssa with 2022 Volunteer of the Year Awards recognising their dedication to this very important cause.
