It was great to join the Prime Minister at today’s Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia event.
An estimated 24,000 new cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed in Australia by the end of this year and tragically, the disease will take the lives of around 3,500 men in 2022.
Australia has some of the leading cancer survival rates in the world, but these figures tell us that we need to do more as a nation.
So for Australian men over 50, particularly those with an underlying family history, please consider getting tested. It could save your life.
