One year ago, relentless rain brought heartbreak and devastation to families and businesses in QLD and NSW.
Properties were damaged, livestock lost and, most tragically of all, people lost their lives.
Today, we remember those lives that were lost, and thank the first responders, the ADF and everyday Australians that were there to help families in their time of need.
Australians are resilient and strong, but one year on, many families are still recovering and communities still rebuilding.
We will continue to work constructively with all levels of government to build our national resilience and help families and businesses get back on their feet.
