Prestige Jayco On Road To Success With New Centre

The Allan Labor Government is supporting one of Victoria’s largest motorhome and caravan dealerships to create more local jobs, with the construction of new workshops, service facilities and work bays in Geelong.

Minister for Regional Development Jaclyn Symes today visited Prestige Jayco Geelong to inspect construction on the company’s state-of-the-art sales, administration and service centre at its Newcomb site.

The expansion will supporting 15 new jobs, including workshop technicians and sales and administrative staff, bringing the total number of employees to 57. It will also allow Prestige Jayco to explore other segments of the market such as caravan accessories – supporting further growth opportunities for the business.

As part of the broader expansion, Prestige Jayco is redeveloping and expanding its facilities with two new workshops that accommodate 22 work bay areas and will double the capacity to service vehicles – reducing wait times from 3 months to just a few weeks.

Funding from the Labor Government has also supported the previous construction of a pre-delivery and service workshop, which was completed in December 2023.

With more than 40 years of experience and history, Prestige Jayco started as a family caravan service and repair business and has grown to become one of Australia’s leading dealerships.
