Huge thanks to our wonderful volunteers for joining us on Saturday to fight for real action on the housing crisis ✊ Right now, Labor’s housing plan offers nothing for renters. That’s why it’s so important we keep up the pressure to get Labor to give renters real rights, including a national freeze on rent increases. We know this pressure works. After months of campaigning, we’ve secured $2 billion in new funding for public and community housing. YES! It’s a great start, but we urgently need Labor to take action for the one-third of Australians who rent, by coordinating a national freeze and cap on rent increases, and commit to $2.5 billion every year for public and affordable housing.
