Queensland Greens

This coming week, the Greens bill to raise the age of criminal responsibility will be debated in Queensland parliament.

In Queensland, kids as young as 10 can be held criminally responsible. Given that we know incarceration can lead to life-long criminalisation and disadvantage, this is tantamount to state-sanctioned child abuse.

If you’re near Brisbane join us outside parliament on Tuesday to let the government know that we need to raise the age in Queensland.
