Eight years ago today we lost a Labor giant – Wayne Goss.
He was the leader who ended the dark days of the Bjelke-Petersen era.
With integrity, Wayne fought for the many, and not just a few.
As Premier, with his staunch Labor values, he led our state into a new era where education, health, and the environment were invested in and protected like never before.
Wayne got up every single day and worked hard to make Queensland a better place. He accomplished that and more.
He gave us his all and we’re thinking of the Goss family today.
A true Labor man, Wayne will always be missed, but never forgotten.
