That’s why the Annastacia Palaszczuk Labor Government is backing our frontline health workers with record investment.
Since 2015, the Queensland Health workforce has grown:
👨⚕️by 10,638 nurses – an increase of 38.1 per cent
👩⚕️ by 3,106 doctors – an increase of 39.2 per cent
🚑 by 1,103 ambulance officers – an increase of 29.7 per cent
🧑🔬 by 2,418 allied health professionals – an increase of 24.5 per cent
And we’re on track to employ an extra 9,475 staff in this term of Government, supporting the incredible efforts of our doctors, nurses, paramedics, First Nations health workers and other health professionals – as well as everyone behind the scenes who work tirelessly for our health system.
