This week while I was in Canberra, Rose from my team had the privilege of officially unveiling a project funded by the Planting Trees for the Queen’s Jubilee Grant Round, facilitated through my office.
Once complete, this ‘One Million Trees’ project will have re-vegetated a corridor of land in Middleton, providing wind protection and a safe-haven for birds and other wildlife.
‘One Million Trees’ is a community group aiming to plant 1 million native trees by 2030.
