Today I was invited to Southern Cross Care SA, NT & VIC Inc Oakfield Rise in Mount Barker to see the new community centre, complete with an impressive health and wellness area. The highlight of my visit however, was a belated Shrove Tuesday pancake and chat with the residents. It was great to meet you all and engage in varied discussions ranging from the changing face of Mount Barker, to the management of soft plastic waste.
