These students aren't going to university - because you don't need to, to get a good job here in South Australia.
They're our first students at the brand new Tonsley Technical College.
When they finish, they'll walk out with a SACE certificate in one hand, a trade qualification in the other, and straight into a high-quality job with a major employer.
If our state wants to build more homes, or nuclear-powered submarines, or to fix cars or planes, we're going to need skilled workers like these kids.
That's what the five new technical colleges we've built are about.
And it's why, if re-elected - we'll build three more technical colleges.
