๐ฆ๐บ๐น๐ฑ Australia and Timor-Leste have signed a joint declaration establishing 'Parseria Foun ba Era Foun' - which is Tetum for a 'New Partnership for a New Era' - to strengthen cooperation on economic growth, security and development.
The partnership is backed by major investments, including a further $8.2 million to support Timor-Leste's participation in ASEAN and the WTO, an $80 million Private Sector Development Program for business services, and a $220 million Human Development Initiative to advance health, education and disability services across Timor-Leste.
Through these commitments, the Albanese Government is deepening Australia's partnership with Timor-Leste and advancing our shared vision for prosperity and regional stability. ๐
