Australia is imposing further targeted financial sanctions on Iran in response to the regime's brutal repression of peaceful protests, including violence, mass arrests and nationwide internet blackouts.
Today's measures target 20 individuals and 3 entities linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for their role in oppressing the Iranian people and threatening lives at home and abroad.
The Albanese Government has now sanctioned over 200 Iranian individuals and entities, standing with the people of Iran alongside international partners.
