The Australian Senate has just passed a motion condemning the Iranian regime's brutal repression of peaceful protesters.
It recognises the injustice and profound suffering endured by the Iranian people, including the Australian-Iranian community.
I am proud to co-sponsor this motion, which affirms Australia's solidarity with the people of Iran and reflects the Australian Government's commitment to stand with them in pursuit of justice and human dignity.
