This afternoon, we came together across both sides of politics to observe the Last Post Ceremony at the @AWMemorial.
At each ceremony, the story of an Australian from the Roll of Honour is shared, reminding us of the sacrifice behind our national story and the service of all who have fought, as well as those currently serving.
Today, we remembered Major Cyril Herbert Dodson Lane, who served in the First World War.
I also took a quiet moment to pay tribute to the intelligence and security personnel listed on the Roll of Honour.
Lest we forget.
