Veterans now have easier access to dental care, with more funding available under the Department of Veterans' Affairs Dental Program for high-cost treatments like crowns, bridges and veneers. 🦷
The cap has doubled to $5,980.30 and the timeframe to use this capped amount has been extended from one to two years, helping reduce out-of-pocket costs.
Dental therapists, hygienists and oral health therapists who are registered with the Dental Board of Australia have also been added to the approved list of providers, giving eligible veterans greater choice and flexibility in their dental care.
