In a few weeks time, the nature play and community facilities at Glenthorne National Park will open!
In 2016, David Speirs MP and the Liberal Party announced a policy to save Glenthorne Farm in Adelaide’s
southern suburbs from development. In 2020, under then Environment Minster David Speirs, Glenthorne was proclaimed a National Park and opened its gates to the public.This is a great milestone and one that should be celebrated. Under Labor, this land was under threat of housing development. Now, it is a thriving open space that will support habitat and wildlife for generations to come.
