Good morning everyone, an important update from me.
Tasmania Fire Service has initiated a Hot Day Response across the South today.
No fires should be lit in the South under these conditions.
Strike teams have been pre-positioned at key locations and the initial brigade response to any fires that occur will be doubled.
This dual brigade response will also be in force across the North as a precaution.
Aerial firefighting crews are on hand, and additional crews from the Parks and Wildlife Service are also patrolling the East Coast.
If you do see a fire, please report it through to 000.
