Taste Of Mid West On Show At Shore Leave

The iconic Shore Leave Festival returns next week, with limited tickets still available for this vibrant celebration of the Mid West’s world-class seafood, coastal adventures and culture.

This year, for the first time, discounted one-way airfares between Perth and Geraldton are offered by Nexus Airlines exclusively for Shore Leave ticket holders.

Headlining the festival will be the Abrolhos Long Table Lunch on East Wallabi Island, which will feature acclaimed Western Australian chef Scott Bridger, joint partner of Bib & Tucker in Fremantle.

Another festival favourite, Mid West Paddock to Plate, will again be held under the stars at Yanget Farm and led by Ben Ing, co-owner of Alberta’s in Busselton and former head chef of the globally renowned restaurant Noma.

This year, both chefs will collaborate across events, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy their signature culinary styles at each of the two premium dining experiences.

Shore Leave is presented by Tourism Geraldton Mid West, with the festival and discount airfares supported by the Western Australian Government through Tourism WA.

Shore Leave’s central hub, The Helm, located on Geraldton’s foreshore, offers food and beverage stalls, live music, family-friendly craft workshops and stunning sunset views, making it a lively spot for visitors of all ages.

A broad program of free and ticketed events rounds out the festival, injecting colour and energy into the Geraldton community while showcasing the Mid West as a must-visit destination.
