That’s why we’ll keep pushing for a freeze on rent increases, a doubling of commonwealth rent assistance and a big build of affordable and social housing homes.
Because if Labor can spend $254 billion dollars on the stage 3 tax cuts then they can sure as hell lift the 1.5 billion households facing rental stress out of this crisis.
