A huge shoutout to our Brisbane MPs and volunteers who have been working around the clock over the last few days to organise sandbag pickup locations and help get these distributed to local communities.
They have been packing and moving thousands of sandbags across metro Brisbane until late in the evening, working alongside councils and community to help prepare as many people as possible for what is to come.
This is community.
We are keeping everyone in Queensland and northern New South Wales in our thoughts across the next few days, and hope that everyone stays safe 💚
