Big polluters should be paying for the damage they are doing to our climate, not everyday Australians!
New polling by the Make Polluters Pay Alliance shows that Australians are feeling the impacts of climate change on the cost of living, as food prices go up and extreme weather pushes up insurance premiums.
The polling also reveals a majority of Australians agree that big polluters should pay for the damage caused by their climate pollution, including contributing to the costs of climate disasters.
It’s time government hold these big producers responsible for their destruction, and take the real climate action needed to curb rising costs for Australians.
