Good news! Yesterday climate activist Violet Coco was granted bail pending jail sentence appeal.
But as David Shoebridge says: “the fact that she has been in jail for the last week is really a stain on our democracy, and it’s a stain on the NSW parliament that passed these laws”.
People have the right to peaceful protest.
