In a cost of living crisis, 26 weeks at minimum wage just doesn’t cut it. Families are forced to choose between paying bills and spending precious time with their babies.

While 1 in 3 big corporations dodge tax, new parents miss milestones and women retire into poverty.

Fair paid parental leave is key to keeping women connected to the workforce, closing the gender pay gap and giving families real choices.

The Greens are fighting for:

✅ 52 weeks of paid parental leave with super
✅ Paid at replacement wage (not minimum wage)
✅ 12 weeks “use it or lose it” for secondary carers
✅ Expand parental leave eligibility to all PhD students

More Greens in parliament will keep Dutton out and get Labor to act, including on fair paid parental leave and closing the gender pay gap.
