Nurses & midwives have held our country together and our communities together, and they’re burnt out and exhausted. They deserve better.
Better pay. To be resourced properly. To be supported properly. To be respected.
Instead of spending $244b on tax cuts for billionaires and the wealthy, the government should give $3b to nurses to reward them and stop them leaving the profession.
We need to take care of the people who take care of us.
