Several Palestinians fleeing Gaza have had their VISAs cancelled as they were on their way to Australia, with the Labor Government now refusing them entry into the country.
The Labor Government is telling these people that they have been denied entry because they don’t know how long the war in Gaza will last. That doesn’t change the fact that they need safety, NOW.
The Government must at least grant them temporary VISAs. Anything less is beyond incomprehensible.
Let’s not forget that the Labor-backed invasion of Gaza has killed tens of thousands of people . Over 12,000 children are dead. Most peoples homes, destroyed.
Labor owes it to these people to do everything they can to ensure their safe passage to Australia, to stop funding weapons exports to Israel and for a lasting and permanent ceasefire.
