Teachers deserve better 🍎
Today, Queensland teachers are striking for the first time in 16 years, because they’ve been left with no other choice.
The LNP government has rejected their calls for nation‑leading pay and safer working conditions. But teaching conditions are learning conditions – when teachers are overworked and under‑resourced, our kids suffer too.
The Greens join QLD teachers in their call for better, and recognise the vital role teachers play in society and the immeasurable impact they have on our everyday lives.
