3 things wrong with the NSW Government’s stadium plans
Residents are telling us they don’t want the NSW Government’s massive stadium project to go ahead. They’d rather the $730 million be spent on a new local high school. Greens Candidate for Vaucluse Megan McEwin, Greens MP David Shoebridge and Local Democracy Matters’ Treasurer Chris Maltby explain why they’re taking the NSW Government to court over this wasteful project.
There are three legal flaws with the way the NSW Government has pushed the project through:
1. Failure to give adequate notice
2. Failure to consider local planning laws
3. Failure to consider the contaminated fill under the site
The Greens are with the local community all the way. The NSW Government should spend this money on public schools, hospitals and transport. Vote 1 Greens.
