Cate Faehrmann is a Greens Member of the NSW Legislative Council who hasn’t stopped fighting for the community and the environment. Her work in the parliament and the community has been pivotal in getting attention on many significant issues facing NSW, including koalas, pandemic pay for frontline healthcare workers, stopping destructive new dams in regional NSW, voluntary assisted dying and drug law reform. She is chair of the powerful Public Accountability Committee.
For more than two decades, Cate has worked to build the Greens movement across Australia and New Zealand. Cate has built a reputation for refusing to back down when it comes to fighting for justice and the planet, and that’s why we’re so excited to have her voice leading our upper house ticket for 2023
