🎉🎊MEET LYNDA-JUNE COE, OUR THIRD NSW UPPER HOUSE CANDIDATE FOR 2023🎊🎉
Lynda-June Coe is a proud Wiradjuri and Badu Island woman from Erambie Cowra. She is a teacher, activist, and PhD candidate at Macquarie University. She is also a member of the Central West Greens and is located on the traditional lands of her people and ancestors.
“I am a Blak Greens member because as a First Nations person our four pillars align with my own cultural values in not only caring for country, but also caring for community. And even more so our most disadvantaged. After decades of neoliberalism and the destruction caused by greedy governments it is now time to push for alternative pathways and policies for a more just, inclusive, and fairer NSW for all.
I am standing in this election to effect change, to ensure diverse representation in parliament but to also go to task on issues such as Aboriginal deaths in custody, environmental justice and to address the rising cost of living for those who are suffering the most in our communities.”
Lynda isn’t frightened to call out the hard issues facing the people of NSW. She speaks with a fire for justice, and we’re so excited to have her voice in Parliament.
