Today @lynda_junecoegreens and @senatorthorpe launched the Greens Treaty policy for NSW.
First Nations people are leaders – they’re tired of being advisors. Treaty puts truth-telling and power in writing.
The Greens will:
➡️ Create a First Nations-led Truth and Justice Commission to design and implement a
Truth-telling Process
➡️ Establish an Independent Treaty Commission
designed by First Nations people to develop
the terms and operation of Treaty
➡️ Create dedicated seats for First Nations
People in the NSW Parliament
