We are in a dangerous place in New South Wales.
In April, the coalition government teamed up with the Labor party to introduce draconian anti-protest laws, criminalising peaceful protest in our streets and cities. Protesters now face up to $22,000 in fines and up to 2 years in prison—— just for taking a stand.
If we are going to protect our democracy, we need to repeal the anti-protest laws and enshrine our rights to speak and be heard.
