The Greens NSW

Yesterday, nurses and midwives across the state took industrial action to demand a fair pay increase and safe staffing ratios 💪💪

From Moree to Morriset, Sydney to Albury, nurses & midwives formed pickets as early as 7:30am make it clear to the Premier that things have got to change.

Our hospitals are under pressure and underfunded. Staff are burnt out, spread thin, and the safety of patients is at risk. And yet Damien Tudehope says he has “no idea what this strike is about.”

This strike is about the safety of our health system and the people who run it, Mr. Tudehope.
