Violet has been sentenced to 15 months in prison for taking part in a peaceful protest that blocked one lane of traffic on the Sydney Harbour Bridge – for 25 minutes.
This outrageous abuse of justice is merely the latest in a line of repressive and punitive actions against peaceful climate activism.
While climate criminals get away with environmental vandalism and destroying the planet, courageous activists like Violet are jailed.
