Today is IDAHOBIT – the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia, and discrimination against people with intersex variations.
The theme for IDAHOBIT 2023 is “Together Always: United in
Diversity”. The wins we have had for the LGBTQIA+ community are thanks to our solidarity and strength in the face of ongoing discrimination.The Greens have always opposed LGBTQIA+ discrimination, and will continue to work in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community – in parliament and in practice. There is a lot of work to do if we want to achieve full LGBTQIA+ equality, and we are committed to doing the work to make it happen.
