Neuroinclusion Program recruiting in Adelaide
The Government is recruiting people who are neurodivergent in Adelaide.
The Aurora Neuroinclusion Program delivers a supportive and inclusive recruitment process for a range of roles.
Minister for Government Services, the Hon Bill Shorten, said Aurora recognises the strengths and skills neurodivergent people can bring to the workforce.
“15 to 20 per cent of Australians are neurodivergent[1] and have a lot to offer Services Australia so it’s important the workforce matches that diversity,” Minister Shorten said.
“I encourage anyone based in Adelaide who is eligible and interested in a career in the public service to apply.”
Aurora has helped people like Michael, who wanted to return to work after an injury.
“I decided to apply to the Aurora program as I felt the role would be challenging and something I haven’t been formally exposed to,” Michael said.
“The one message I would send to future candidates is to apply for the role and see where it takes you.”
Services Australia, in partnership with neurodiversity specialist Employ For Ability, delivers a supportive and inclusive recruitment process to positions in specialist fields.
Current roles available during this recruitment round include Administrative Support Officer, Associate Test Engineer, Test Engineer, Program Officer, Systems Administrator and Government Lawyer.
