The 2022 Graduate Outcomes Survey measures the employment rate of students who have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate award degree.
The survey shows the employment rate for domestic graduates increased by almost 10 per cent since 2021, with 78.5 per cent of students securing full-time employment within four to six months of completing their course.
The overall domestic graduate employment rate – covering casual, part-time and full-time work – also experienced solid growth, increasing from 84.8 per cent in 2021 to 88.3 per cent in 2022.
These results demonstrate the value of higher education and highlight the importance of increasing access to tertiary education for more Australians.
They also reflect the high-quality education on offer at Australian universities.
