A new life in North West Central awaits
Member for North West Central has jumped on research released today from the Regional Australia Institute (RAI) showing workers in Perth and capital cities have never been more open to starting a new job and life in regional WA.
The RAI report 90% of Perth respondents stated their current salary wasn’t enough to keep up with rising costs of living.
Nearly half reported that a salary increase would convince them to move to regional WA.
“Anyone who lives in the electorate of North West Central knows there is no better place to call home, and with plenty of jobs on offer there has never been a better time to start a new life in the North West,” said Ms Beard.
“With cost of living pressures hitting Perth residents hard, I encourage everyone in Perth to come see what awaits in our region. From the pristine waters and beautiful coast line stretching from Kalbarri to Onslow and the red dirt of Tom Price, to the heritage and history of the stunning inland landscapes and everything in between – there is something for everyone on offer.”
