UK Secretaries Lammy and Reynolds Visit Japan

In the first ever joint mission of its kind, Foreign Secretary David Lammy and Business and Trade Secretary Jonathan Reynolds visited Tokyo for the inaugural UK-Japan Economic 2+2 Dialogue on the 7 March.

The Economic 2+2 Dialogue was held with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya and Japanese Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Yoji Muto. At a time when economic and foreign policy issues are more interlinked than ever, the dialogue was an opportunity for strategic exchanges on how the UK and Japan work together on key questions affecting global growth and security.
