LAUNCHING our plan for a $1 billion Zero Extinction Fund.
This fund would help protect and restore Victoria’s threatened species and their habitat đ¨ đŚ
Over the past 8 years, Vic Labor has unfortunately slashed environmental funding, ramped up destruction of native forests, rivers and grasslands, and opened our oceans to new gas drilling â including near the 12 Apostles.
Species extinction is not inevitable. It’s a choice.
We must act to protect our environment and animals, before it’s too late.
Unlike the major parties, the Greens have a detailed plan to protect nature.
đł Stop the destruction of nature by ending native forest logging, duck shooting and mining for fossil fuels
đł Making sure First Nations people are at the centre of caring for Country
đł Fixing Victoria’s broken nature laws
đł A $1 billion per year Zero Extinction Fund

With Greens in parliament, we will push the government to take the action we need to protect our environment.
