Samantha Ratnam’s Member Statement in support of justice for First Nations People
In this Member Statement, Samantha Ratnam acknowledges the Victorian Parliament’s unfinished work in terms of First Nations justice.
The Victorian justice system continues to disproportionately harm and kill First Nation peoples, we must dismantle the systemic prejudice and racism that causes this. We need to reform our bail laws and raise the age of criminal responsibility.
