Insulation, which keeps homes warm in winter, also helps keep homes cool in summer.
With Victorian summers getting longer and hotter as we feel the impacts of climate change, the Greens will be pushing for insulation and cooling to be minimum requirements for rentals.
All rental properties should be safe and livable in the summer.
