What would you do with a three day weekend?
Four day work week trials are happening all around the world. The Greens want Victoria to get in on the action.
We know that four day work weeks – with five days pay – boost wellbeing, improve gender equality and enhance work/life balance. What’s even better is that trials in Canada, the US and Ireland have shown no drops in productivity by participants.
The Greens will create a $60m fund for the private and public sectors to trial a 4-day work week model here in Victoria. The trial will create jobs, support local businesses, address stagnating wages and relieve overworked Victorians.
4 day work week? Sounds good.
